Seven Falls Colorado

Seven Falls is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This area has a massive waterfall that drops seven times into a shallow pool. There is a staircase that you can climb to the top where you can take a brief hike around the top of the falls. There is also an elevator that goes up almost to the top of the opposite mountain where you can see the full glory of the waterfalls.

When we got there it was cloudy. It started to thunder while I was waiting for Andrew to return from the top. I grew concerned as lightning can be very dangerous on the mountains. He made it to the bottom right when the rain started and we left the park. As we were leaving I was treated to a funnel cloud view. :) Colorado Springs had some nice afternoon thunderstorms. And we continued to drive to Loveland pass.
