Storms of 2006
La Nina had a strong hold on the US. Extremely dry conditions
sparked forest fires across, TX, OK, and NM. Finally some relief came to these
regions. Though the storm season has seems to have shifted. It is in this
year with the gulf moisture feeding up into south central that we saw massive
storms in MO and AR. Missouri saw a tornado outbreak with about 140 tornado
reports.
I was blessed to have viewed my first
viewing/photography of Arizona lightning and while on the same trip, I saw some
awesome Dust Devils.
