Storms of 2007 This year started us out in an El Nino pattern that was warmer than the 1998 event. For just about the entire month of January we had rain everyday and cooler weather. The summer was rather nice, not too hot. Then through most of November we had upper 70's to mid80's. Finally on 11/23/2007 the day before Thanksgiving, Southeast Texas got a cold front dropping us to 50's for highs.
