| June 17, 2008- first storm chase of the season June 17th the Houston area finally gets some storm action, after a VERY quiet spring season. This storm gave quite a roar, but really didn't do all that much. However, it did give an amazing sunset and some great lightning. Unfortunately, by the time I was in position for lightning shots the storm had died out. My trek took me from home in Arcola to Galveston Island.
